Drinking water from private wells is just as important as water from Public Water Systems. For this reason it is recommended that drinking water samples from private wells be tested at a certified laboratory.
A list of certified labs in Nebraska, and the parameters for which each is certified, is updated periodically and can be found on the Nebraska Public Health Environmental Lab website (www.dhhs.ne.gov/lab) under “Laboratory Certification.” Please check with the Nebraska Public Health Environmental Lab for the most recently updated list.
