Emergency Response Plan

Purpose:

The emergency response plan provides a step-by-step process for farm managers and employees to follow when a manure handling emergency such as a discharge or spill occurs. It should clearly identify the critical first steps to be taken and the important individuals that need to be notified of the emergency. Such steps may prevent some spills from causing serious damage to the environment.
